Guatemala Tajumuco - Medium Roast

Fruit, chocolate, low acid. Moderate mellow finish.

This, like many Guatemalans, is an all-day drinker. Whereas higher acid coffees like Kenyans can be a one-and-done, the mild but flavorful juiciness of this one keeps me refilling my cup.

Great with or without milk. This one will pair with milk better than the light roast, as the chocolate will be more prominent.

Works well on all preparation methods, but for my money there's nothing better than the French Press for the Tajumuco. The melding of flavors and the added body that the press provides is ideal for this flavor profile.

Try a 1-to-16 coffee-to-water ratio (20g of coffee, 320g of water).
